Document distribution that handles itself

Astral Send automates the entire document distribution process within Business Central. From sales invoices, quotes, orders, credit memos, statements, purchase documents, remittance advice and service documents, you configure how each document type should be sent and the system handles the rest.

The primary delivery method is email, with documents sent as PDF attachments using configurable templates. If an email address is not available for a recipient, Astral Send automatically falls back to an alternative delivery method such as printing to a local printer - ensuring no document is left undelivered.

Each document type can be configured with its own sender address, so invoices go from your accounts team while quotes go from the relevant salesperson. Multiple documents for the same recipient can be grouped into a single email rather than sending them individually. Supplementary attachments - terms and conditions, product guides or any other supporting document - can be configured to attach automatically to specific document types.

Astral Send also supports multi-language delivery. If your customers and vendors have a language code assigned, the system automatically selects the appropriate email template and subject line for their language. Document copies can be permanently stored either locally or in SharePoint, and a comprehensive log tracks every document sent.
